The Arctic and other environments are the subject of intense study and research at the University of Minnesota.

The Killer Shrews
The Bell Museum and Take-Up Productions presents animal-themed sci-fi films on an outdoor screen in the Bell Museum courtyard. Come early to see live animals and learn about the real behaviors and biology of the featured creatures.

This performance is an artistic response to the eradication and contamination of natural resources by aggressive industrialization, from the viewpoint of vulnerable society members. Created in collaboration with leaders from the Environmental Justice Education and Advocacy Collective.

U Open House
"Agriculture for the 21st Century: Growing a Healthier World" In a fun, social atmosphere, the Open House will inform citizens of the state about U research, outreach and extension leading the way towards enhancing economical, ecological, and social value in the rural community.
