The research give-and-take


Community-based research has become a hot topic in the past decade, and the U is rising to meet its unique challenges. Cynthia McGill from the Research Subjects' Protection Programs is one of those working to remove barriers to this critical research while supporting faculty and staff.

Clearing the way to collaborate


Minnesota's largest county and its research university signed a historic agreement last month that will give Hennepin County easier access to U-wide expertise and students. Senior vice president for system academic administration Robert Jones was among those signing for the University.
