In DAISY DOES AMERICA, Daisy Donovan travels the country in search of the American Dream, soon discovering that phrase means different things to different people. Her travels spotlight the quirks and oddities of the American way of life as she tries to fit in wherever she can. Along the way, she pokes fun at herself and the characters she comes across in her unique, tongue-in-cheek style. As she strives to conform to the sometimes-bizarre characters and situations she encounters, the results are unpredictable and hilarious.

Bounty Hunter
In America, female bounty hunters are the ultimate ball busters. Daisy wants to be one of these tough women, so she trains in handcuffing, dealing with hostile individuals and setting up busts. Then, with her new mentor and partner, Daisy plans her first bust.

County Western Star
Americans are obsessed with their pop celebrities, but Daisy quickly learns she doesn’t cut it as a pop idol. She takes a detour and stops in Nashville, Tenn., to become a country-western star. She decides to live the hard-knock life in the country and get a country-western star makeover. Finally, she enters a talent competition in the hopes that she will be discovered.

Rap Star
Rap stars are a big part of the music scene in America. Wanting to prove herself in the highly competitive world of hip-hop, Daisy learns everything she can to enter a rap battle. Hilarity ensues when her prim and proper ways mix with American urban culture.

Pageant Contestant
Daisy tries to join American royalty by becoming a beauty pageant queen. She adopts a diet and fitness regimen and hires a pageant coach to help her learn pageant etiquette. Daisy enters a pageant in Texas in hopes of taking home the crown.

Dog Show Handler
With the popularity of Westminster and other dog shows, Daisy realizes that Americans love their dogs. She wants to be a proud dog owner, too, so she borrows a couple of dogs to enter in a show. She finds a mentor to teach her the secrets to being a successful dog handler and tries to become the top dog in the competition.

Wedding Planner
Weddings are a big business in America, and Daisy wants to be a part of it. She decides to become a wedding planner in the wedding capitol of America, Gatlinburg, Tenn. She pursues different jobs at wedding chapels to get a feel for the industry, and then she tries to plan a wedding on her own.

Poker Champion
Nothing says success in America like becoming a millionaire. Daisy decides the easiest way to her fortunes is to become a poker champion. After trying to bluff her way into the poker social scene to no avail, she decides her next best bet is to snag a man who has already won his millions in the gambling world.

Psychic
Americans often turn to psychics for guidance, and Daisy wants to help by becoming a psychic herself. She soon realizes, however, that the world of the supernatural is extremely unpredictable and that telling fortunes is not her strength.
