The AFL Players' Association ("AFLPA") acknowledges a report in Tuesday's Herald Sun newspaper that accredited player agent Max Stevens may have acted in breach of the AFLPA Regulations Governing Accredited Agents ("Agents' Regulations") by providing TV show tickets to the family of prospective AFL draftee Bryce Gibbs.
The AFLPA is responsible for the accreditation of all AFL player agents on behalf of its members and maintains an Agents Accreditation Board ("Agents Board") to oversee this important function.
The Agents Board has made its own inquiries into the newspaper report and advises that it is satisfied that no breach of the Agents' Regulations has been committed by Max Stevens.
The Agents Board has notified Max Stevens of the outcome of its inquiries and considers the matter to have been finalised.
