Chester is a city in transition - steeped in ancient history, it's currently a veritable battleground for planners versus those who want to preserve the city's splendid heritage. Some of the current hot topics are the state of the Walls, the decline of the Rows, the unwanted Glass Slug and the loss of cultural centres such as the Odeon cinema and the Gateway Theatre, to name just a few.

This is the place on Chester Wiki to publicise any current campaigns that affect Chester or what's happening here. Feel free to add a page (and remember to link it properly so it can be found), but be warned that anything overtly party-political (such as attempts to grab election votes) is likely to be ruthlessly edited by other Wiki contributors!
