A new record!!!! (Xbox repair time)

I had to send in my 360 recently, and they aparantly know of the issue already (called Xbox CS and the agent notified the repair center). Well, when it got there, guess how long it took for them to "repair" it?

    1 day.

I think that may be a new record for MS!!!

    And, to them:

    Da-da-da-daaa

    Daaa Daaa

    Da d-daaaaaaa

(That was the Final Fantasy victory tune)

    My CoD WaW tourney experience

Okay, so I noticed that Gamestop is hosting a Call of Duty: World at War tournament. I sign up, and here's the fun parts:

Round 1: Okay, so I get there at like 10 till 9 PM, and I was waiting there for the other guy to show up....for like 15 minutes. I was busy talking to the GS employees about a bit of random stuff (video game related), and I was like "When is he gonna get here?" "What do I do now?" Well, we kinda gave up on the guy, so I was the only one there. Which means I won that round and 4 CoD WaW tourney t-shirts. I only needed ONE, so I gave the other 3 away for christmas.

Round 2 (which was earlier tonight): I showed up about 30 minutes early, and there were like a few other guys there, and they had their Round 1 ceterficates (which I also got) with them, and so did I. So, we were all screwing around (including a GS employee), talking about stuff (mostly video games), waiting for the manager to show up. He shows up, and we waited like 15-20 more minutes for him to get everything organized. (Sign-up sheet, verification, and him reading over the rules, etc.) And our moms were there to, and so were a few little kids. At least we had an audience.

So, when we started playing, he offered if I wanted to go first. I declined, because of this:

I don't even own the game, and never will until my 360 comes back from the shop. (Yes, I sent it in again.)

I watched the other two people play (there were 3 of us), and the manager guy didn't even set it up right. He was supposed to set it for Competitive Co-op on Semper Fi (there was no hard drive), and instead, he picked Team Deathmatch (which doesn't make sense since two of us were playing at a time) on Castle. When it was my turn, I didn't know which gun type had the machine guns, so I sucked at killing him. However, I was good at hiding from him and killing the hounds he summoned. I lost, BUT....

It was supposed to be until the last 8 conestants were left, and since there 3 of us, he declared us all "Region Winners" and sent us to the next round. Which, for me, is about 4-5 hours away! (AND next week!!!)

We also got 1GB jump drives, which look like this:

    Front

Link, until I can get it to show it here

    Back

It actually has a chain on it, chich makes it like a USB dog tag, which is nice. We also, of course, got the Round 2 winner ceterficiates.

Now, it's on to Round 3... If what happened tonight happens again there, then I've just saved myself $80 on CoD WaW.

So how did YOU think it went?
