Vaisnava Culture
The Krishna consciousness movement is a cultural movement as well as a religious movement. Srila Prabhupada intended our society to be an example of using everything in God's service; to use our work, abilities, and tastes as a path to transcendence.
Vaisnava culture

Krishna consciousness is meant to be a joyful process, and in our lives joy is expressed through culture. Spiritual life should include the perfection of beauty in musical, visual, and literary arts. Devotees aspire to come closer to transcendence by coming to the platform of goodness first. Arts in the mode of goodness should be pleasing to the ear, the eye, the tongue, and the other senses. They should satisfy the senses in such a way that the devotee learns to look for true beauty in spiritual life rather than material life.

In this section we give a small taste of some of the cultural pursuits that the Krishna consciousness movement practises.
