The way PDC-WCD works, it's impossible not to get sucked in very quickly. [Jan 2007, p.69]

PC Gamer UK
The game isn't bad either. The control method is based around just how hard it is to draw a steady straight line using a mouse. [Jan 2007, p.95]

PC Zone UK
There's about as much depth here as a baking tin... Feels more like a mini-game than a piece of software worthy of 25 quid. [Jan 2007, p.86]

The control system is void of any kind of passion and is mostly frustrating.

Kieran W. gave it a6:
I am a huge darts fan and when i saw this game advertised i was straight on the internet to purchase it. Unfortunately, this game seems to be a huge let down. I find the game quite easy to use, but, it is extremely slow which has become very annoying. Another let down, is the player editor and the fact you can't change your characters personal appearance, you end up playing as some fat old guy. Such great potential but such a big let down.

Arnold A. gave it a0:
I am really struggling to come up with a word to describe this game, something between garbage and hideous (lending towards the garbage side of it). If they wanted to make a good darts game then why didnt the developers go to a live event and use that info to put in the game?!? I mean i never hear the caller announce "Alan The Iceman Warriner-Little" when he wins a game (and thats a rarity even in real life eh Alan) 10 players and 3 arenas?!?! where's the depth in that? At least create some fictional characters especially in career mode as you dont expect to start a darts career by playing the top pros. The game is too repetitive, so much so is that after 10 minutes you feel like you're going down a cul-de-sac. While the conrtols are really the only good point about it, the biggest letdown is the player editor feature: there is no player editor! Im sure you dont want your character looking like someone athis local with pint in one hand and rollup in other yet you cant change his face, hair, even the darts. Instead its only the shirts and 4=track music you can change. Pathetic! This game had so much potential yet has been a major letdown
