Rough River Lake road restrictions for Route 79

LOUISVILLE, KY – The need to complete repairs to the dam at Rough River will result in a temporary restriction on highway traffic on state Route 79 crossing Rough River Dam. All vehicles greater than 30 feet in total length will be restricted from crossing the dam March 1 – April 1, 2007.
Rough River Dam is located on State Highway Route 79 between county roads 105 and 110. The dam repairs are expected to be completed by the spring of 2007. For additional information contact Rough River Lake staff at (270) 257-2061.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers provides this information as a public service to ensure safe travel in and around the area during the dam repair project.
