All Things Considered, June 8, 2007 · To keep little arguments from turning into big fights, some schools turn kids into referees. At recess on a recent school day, an 11-year-old acted as a "coach" with Sports for Kids. Her toughest challenge: resolving tiffs over wallball, a sport with an obscure set of rules.
