The Shining Stars Festival
The Shining Stars is a not-for-profit organization benefiting children of the Illinois Valley in Southern Oregon.
This one event held in June benefits the local economy with the influx of visitors for that weekend, and brings
much-needed cultural enrichment to our valley. The proceeds from the festival directly benefit youth in our

IVHS Alumni and Friends
IVHS ALUMNI AND FRIENDS is an Oregon nonprofit public benefit corporation, and an IRS designated charitable organization under
IRC 501(c)3. We exist to promote class reunions, provide Reunion Weekend activities open to all alumni of Illinois Valley High School,
Cave Junction, Oregon (1949 - Present), and Kerby Union High School that existed in Kerby, Oregon (1924 - 1949), and our friends.
We provide $cholarships for current IVHS graduating seniors. Membership is open to anyone who attended KUHS or IVHS (alumni) and to
all others who believe in our goals and wish to help us attain them (friends).
Reunion Weekend happens annually over the weekend nearest July 4th when classes of the five-year timeline descend on Cave Junction,
Oregon to celebrate an anniversary of their successful (or not!) attendance at IVHS or KUHS.
