Calendars

Any calendar application or web application that supports the iCalendar format can be used to subscribe to video game release list calendars on GamesAreFun.com. We have several calendars available, including the full release list, platform-specific calendars, and a calendar made up solely of games on your wishlist. Simply copy and paste the URL listed below into your favorite calendar program to subscribe. We've included instructions for subscribing in iCal and Google Calendar below.

Subscribing with iCal (Mac OS X)

1. Under the Calendar menu, select "Subscribe." A prompt will open.
2. Paste the URL of the calendar you wish to subscribe to into the field and press "Subscribe."

Enter a title or use ours and you are now subscribed. Your calendar will update itself when you launch iCal. You can also set it to auto-refresh. If you do so, choose either weekly or daily. Release dates aren't updated any more often than that.

Subscribing with Google Calendar (Windows/Linux/Mac)

1. In the left column, press the "+" button next to "Other Calendars." The "Add Other Calendar" page is displayed.
2. Press the "Public Calendar Address" tab.
3. Paste the URL of the calendar you wish to subscribe to into the "Public Calendar Address" field and press the "Add" button.

You are now subscribed. Press "Back to Calendar" to see your new calendar. Please note that Google Calendar is still classified as beta. If you receive an error or the calendar data does not show up, please remove the GamesAreFun.com calendar and try again.
