GameSpot and SportsGamer Team Up
I'm coming up on my three-year anniversary as sports editor here at GameSpot and I've never been more excited about my job than I am today with the announcement of GameSpot's acquisition of SportsGamer. If you're an avid sports video game fan, you've no doubt heard of SportsGamer and, if you're like me, you probably visit it regularly for its insightful sports game strategies, innovative features, and passionate community--all dedicated to making you a the best virtual athlete you can be. In a little over a year, SportsGamer has established itself as one of the most popular and influential sports gaming communities around and I can speak for everyone here at GameSpot when I say that we're thrilled to have them onboard.

While both GameSpot and SportsGamer will continue to bring you their own special brands of sports gaming coverage, you can expect to see more integration between the two sites in the coming months as we grow and expand in our goal to bring you the best, most entertaining, and comprehensive coverage of sports games around.
