Voluntary Action-Leeds

You can visit us at the Volunteer Centre on the second floor at the Central library. We promote a wide variety of voluntary work, which is available with small community groups, local and national charities, health and social services, and education.

Volunteers can work with

  • Older people
  • Women's groups
  • Children and youth
  • The environment
  • Admin and computers
  • Arts and music
  • Sport
  • Advice/helplines
  • Disability groups

and many more.

We run sessions every Monday between 3 and 6pm and every Thursday between 12pm and 5pm. If you can ring us on the number below to make an appointment it helps us keep waiting times down.

Sessions last about half an hour and involve filling out a simple form telling us about your interests and skills. We will then be able to find somewhere for you to do the sort of voluntary work you are interested in.

We welcome any members of the public and we can give you information on your chosen organisations.

Volunteer Centre Leeds is run by Voluntary Action-Leeds. Voluntary Action-Leeds provides direct support, services and advice to voluntary and community groups in Leeds

For further information or for an appointment you can call the Volunteer Centre on 0113 297 7920 or use the link on this page to email us.
