Shaughnessy, Duvert, Givens to 'Saints'

TELEVISION -- Charles Shaughnessy ("Living With Fran"), Michael Duvert ("One Life to Live") and Robin Givens ("Head of State") are set to join Maria Conchita Alonso and Scott Bailey in MyNetworkTV's telenovela "Saints & Sinners." Shaughnessy will play August Martin, the wealthy, patrician husband of Diana Martin (Alonso). Duvert will play Dax Riley, a well-bred but corrupt lobbyist. Givens will play Kelly Dodd, a sexy, successful interior designer. Shaughnessy is repped by the Stone Manners Agency and the Marshak/Zachary Co. Duvert is repped by Stone Manners and Sullivan Talent. Givens is repped by Don Buchwald & Associates and Darryl Marshak of the Marshak/Zachary Co.

Brian McNamara has been cast in the Lifetime pilot "Army Wives," playing Col. Michael Holden, whose wife is played by Kim Delaney. McNamara recently finished filming the indie film "The Tillamook Treasure" and is editing his directorial debut feature, "The Lost Signal." He is repped by TalentWorks and Arlene Forster at Forster-Delaney Management.

Carly Pope has landed a multiepisode arc on FX's upcoming series "Dirt," playing Garbo, a sexy girl who is the go-to drug dealer for Hollywood celebrities. Pope, who recently wrapped the indies "Cantina Bar Tales" and "The Itty Bitty Titty Committee," is repped by Tyman Stewart at the Characters Agency and Levine/Wilkins Entertainment.

Sarah Mason is set to recur on the CW drama "7th Heaven." She plays Jane, a beautiful, strong-willed high school graduate who is looking for a job and a place to live. Mason, who co-stars on Fox's comedy "The Loop," recently filmed the Screen Gems feature "Wieners." She is repped by Handprint Entertainment and Pakula/King.

Andrea Morris ("Hangsman Curse"), who started this season as a recurring on "7th Heaven," has been upped to regular on the show. She plays Margaret, a quirky, eccentric outcast who moves into the Camdens' garage. Morris is repped by Rebel Entertainment and Allman/Rea Management.

Shiva Rose McDermott will do a multiepisode arc on CBS' "CSI: Miami," playing Sonya, a lab tech. McDermott, who stars in the indie "David & Layla," recently received the breakthrough performance award at the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival. She is managed by Amy Macnow at Envoy Entertainment.

Newcomer Kunal Nayyar and Simon Helberg have joined the CBS comedy pilot "The Big Bang Theory," about two brilliant physicists who meet a party girl. Nayyar and Helberg will play genius nerdy friends of the two leads. Nayyar, who earned his master's in acting from Temple University in May, is playing the lead in the Black Dahlia Theatre's production of "Huck & Holden." He is repped by Diverse Talent Group and Jason Kim of Lovett Management. Helberg, who has recurred on NBC's "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" and "Joey," next appears in the features "For Your Consideration" and "In the Land of Women." He is repped by Endeavor.
