Health and Nutrition Surveys
A number of surveys are available that provide insight into nutrition-related issues in Canada. Examples of such surveys include the National Population Health Survey and the Canadian Community Health Survey conducted by Statistics Canada, the Health Behaviour in School-Aged Children Study - a World Health Organization Cross-National Study - and various surveys conducted by other organizations, including the Tracking Nutrition Trends surveys conducted by the former National Institute of Nutrition.
As well Health Canada worked with the provinces during the 1990's to conduct provincial nutrition surveys.
