Bluetooth headphones are such a great idea, but I haven't seen any that are light enough to take to the gym until now. I came across Motorola's S9 Bluetooth headphones at CES, and was surprised by how good they sound. These behind-the-ear active headphones are water-resistant and include integrated touch controls that allow you to navigate through your music, as well as answer calls wirelessly.
And they also work with your iPod if you purchase a Bluetooth adapter that attaches to the bottom of your player, much like the one used for the Nike Plus Sports kit. You won't like these headphones if you don't like earbuds, and I can see how they can be irritating to wear while running. The black or red rubberized headphones are very sleek, though, and probably the lightest Bluetooth headphones I've seen. The S9 Motorola Bluetooth Active Headphones will be available in the first half of 2007.
