As if you don't waste enough of your time in a gamer's haze, here's Kotaku: a gamer's guide that goes beyond the press release. Gossip, cheats, criticism, design, nostalgia, prediction. Don't get a life just yet.
What. A. Contest. You want to go to Japan? With a friend? And not *just* Japan, but the Tokyo Game Show. Here's the deal: Today, we're kicking off a contest that will run through the end of March. We're going to run three (count 'em) trivia questions over this period in the form of sponsored polls. Today's is brought to you by Old Spice thank-you-very-much.
Heh. I believe the question is hidden inside the paragraph. By taking out words, letters, and a few symbols i found hidden underneath the text i came up with this question:
Question one: The lollipop in my mouth has been going for thirteen revolutions and it's mass has decreased by 2%. Knowing that and the number of pieces of gum left under my desk, What is the correct answer to the following question: Mario: Boxers of Briefs?
Home video of a New Hampshire family's trip to Disney world shows Tigger "punching" a 14 year-old boy. "The boy's father, Jerry Monaco, says the costumed character "sucker punched" his boy Friday as his children posed for a picture. He says his son later experienced neck pain and he took him to a hospital." Tigger says it was "self-defense," and has been suspended from his job. Mr. Monoco lodged an official complaint, but all he's looking for is an apology from Tigger.
Supposedly the kid was pulling hard on the guy in the costumes tail, leaving him to barely be able to hold his balance and actually hurting him due to the harness he wears. The costumed guy told him to stop [of course not shown on video] and what you see is the result.
He still should be fired. you do not punch a guest. But sued? No.
How I long for the good old days of SEGA. Back before next-gen Sonic the Hedgehog, Shadow the Hedgehog, and just about anything hedgehoggy lately that isn't on a Nintendo handheld. Those days may be gone, but the games live on thanks to this gen's love affair with grave robbing. SEGA has announced five new titles for the Wii Virtual Console.

We got tons of entries for out Lost Planet contest and have narrowed down the finalists to twenty. But, holy mackerel! We've seriously got the most talented and creative readership on the internet. Many thanks and much love to everyone who sent something in. Ok. Time to give away free stuff. Here's how we're gonna do it: All the finalists are after the jump, and Kotaku-land is going to help pic the winners. To do so, Kotakuites must list ten entries they think should win.
Ten year Gamespot vet and editor-in-chief Greg Kasavin has announced that he's leaving the helm of the long-running Cnet owned online publication to pursue a career at an unnamed video game developer. Known for his generally harsh but fair reviews, including an in-depth set of review guidelines, Kasavin calls his career move a "once-in-a-lifetime opportunity" to "contribute to one of my favorite gaming franchises."
Upstart: You do know that they have been a part of cnet for many years now right?
Worms. The name might not inspire that much game lust, but once you check out this vid I'm sure you will be jonesing for some hot Worms action on the Xbox 360's Live Arcade. Brian Crecente
The only thing that sucks? It looks like they removed the flowing effects from the game. For example when they blew up the barrels. normally in the PC and portable versions this will lead to liquid napalm being spread over a certain area and flowing depending on terrain. This would burn on touching it.
This did not happen in the game. So it looks like they changed it a bit and made them just explosions.
Looks like they turned down the physics too. Either it was sped up for the video, or it is hit and very quickly speed to where you land.
Xbox Attitude scored a massive amount of Worms for Xbox Live Arcade screenshots and they are lookin' hot in high definition. Since I haven't gotten to play some multiplayer Worms since the Dreamcast version, I'm really looking forward to it. Check 'em out here.
If you want a great set of worms games but without the 360 pricetag, just get worms Armageddon or worms world party for the pc. Relatively easy to find, and cheap too. Still amazing games.
However their multiplatyer pops are small now. But they are still tons of fun.
