When The Hand Of God Is Also A Registered Weapon

At last, the tyranny of Wrestling for Jesus may be over. Those guys will be running for the hills when faced with the might of Karate for Christ, a movement with more than 400,000 members who will turn the other cheek just so often. It is not known whether Jesus used The Crane technique in his teachings, but we do know that those money lenders' tables didn't turn over by themselves.

It's funny that you use that picture from Jesus Christ Vampire Killer. If Jesus had actually looked like that in the movie, it would've been awesome. But they immediately shave his head and beard and proceed to just make a terrible, so-bad-there's-not-even-a-redeeming-value-in-its-shittyness movie.

DS Sells 10 Million in Europe

Ah yes, our little folding friend the DS. When it was first announced the concept was met with widespread ridicule, but it has shown them all, answering back with record-breaking sales. Nintendo has announced that the DS (both the original and the Lite) has sold over 10 million units in Europe since the handheld was released back in March of 2005. That's over 14,000 sold a day, becoming the fastest console in European history to hit the 10 million mark.

I've been lucky with the DS. I imported one in June of '05 from Japan, a black one, for only $150 and it's lasted me this whole time. My only problem came when my R button stopped working, which Nintendo happily took back and fixed despite the system technically not being under warranty because of it being a Japanese model.

I even got the first Phoenix Wright on a hunch that it would be cool and, while I was very pleased with my decision, was astonished to see it soon become unfindable and cost up to $75 used online. Certainly not Disgaea-type numbers, but impressive nonetheless.

Saints vs. Bears, NFC Championship Game: 3rd Quarter

- The Bears will have the ball to start the second half... Grossman drops back on first down, and picks up 17 yards to Berrian. Nice job by Berrian to go up and get it, and maybe the Bears will unshackle and let Rex be Rex from here on out. I don't know if it would be good for the Bears or not, but it would be more fun. - And that... is what makes Reggie Bush Reggie Bush.

Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints The Mormons what a play.

The New Adventures of Captain S

I love ScrewAttack. They never cease to amaze, horrify and otherwise entertain me with their collection of some of the best fan based game videos from around the country. The Angry Nintendo Nerd, GameJew and Chet and Ace's Awesome Video Games Show are all part of the ScrewAttack stable of loveable oddballs headed up by impresarios Stuttering Craig and Handsome Tom. The boys dropped me a line about the newest addition to their little family, The New Adventures of Captain S.

I think Mega64 has set my standards for fictional video game TV much too high, so everything else just doesn't really look nearly as good.

Much like how Gamelife looks even worse after watching the most recent season of VideoGaiden.

Tarted Up: Decals For Your Wii

The Twilight Princess and pink ones...no thank you very much. But for the £3.99 asking price, this month's Official Nintendo Magazine (UK) might be actually be worth a look-in for once, if only for that NES Wii Remote sticker. Final judgement will be reserved until I can see one in the flesh (as a pack-in, the decal quality might be quite...shite), but until Nintendo release the inevitable "official" version this should tide you over.

My brother in law bought a pink sleeve for the wiimote for his wife, but it was a translucent pink that, when combined with the white wiimote, looked a little too much like a dong.

How To: Play Custom Guitar Hero Tracks

Tired of the stock jams available to you in Guitar Hero II? If you aren't yet aware, making your own Guitar Hero tracks, from any song, is not far out of reach. Those looking for a bloodied finger, near impossible challenge like the one below (Dragonforce's "Fury of the Storm") should read on. One of the posters at the ScoreHero forums put the finishing touches on a handy guide for playing authentic songs from AC/DC, Metallica or other oft-requested bands in Guitar Hero II.

Mashuren, I'm guessing because the covers can isolate the instruments, either just the lead guitar or even the rhythm or bass for co-op. I'm sure there's also royalty issues as well; if you use a cover of the song, you owe the original artist less, and since everyone's willing to do a cover for a paycheck, you probably don't have to pay the cover artists much either. I'm guessing in that respect, for "You Really Got Me", they're paying Van Halen, the Kinks and the cover artists themselves.

However, I have no idea either way. Those are just my best guesses.

Final Fantasy I & II for PSP

Square Enix is not going to let any of us rest until we've all played through Final Fantasy I & II at least a half dozen times each. The two games are now heading to the PSP as part of Final Fantasy's 20th Anniversary celebration. Prepare to experience the games like you never have before, unless you played Final Fantasy Origins on the PS1 or Dawn of Souls on the GBA.

Jaimz, they were, but they got a slight upgrade into SNES-style graphics for the new versions.

I didn't even really like FF2. It just wasn't very fun to me at all, although I'm not sure if I ever got a chance to really have a lot of fun with it in between the random battles EVERY TWO FUCKING STEPS.

Jets vs. Patriots: 4th Quarter

- We're about to start the 4th with the Jets down 10. It could still happen for them, but they need to get something going quickly. Come on, Chad, let's make this one close. - The Jets are down to the 20. 3rd and 8... and Pennington forces one into traffic that gets knocked down. On comes The Nuge, and they cut the lead to 7. - There's been a very steady, smooth pace to this game.

@Habla-
If you were floored seeing him on TV, imagine how the Titans felt when he threw a TD on them last week.

I think I'm going to name my kid Blade or Striker. Probably Striker.
