Baldur's Gate 2 demo not for faint of heart

When is a demo not a demo? When it weighs in at 650MB and is likely to make your computer explode. Get it inside
Baldur's Gate 2 is one of the most extensive RPGs ever created. If you're the sort of person that actually enjoys spending, count them, 300 hours running around a Dungeons and Dragons world, that's your affair. If you actually want to find out if this really is the real you, you're in luck: Virgin and BioWare have released a demo of the game, for some reason best known to themselves.

The full version of the enormous sequel has been on PC store shelves for over three months, so quite what the idea behind releasing a 650MB demo of the game is is a bit of a mystery.
