View Revolution Report's Acclaimed Flash Intro
The Wiire (formerly Revolution Report) began as an idea on May 17, 2005 and continues expanding the vision to the gaming site it is today. I spent much of my time discussing Nintendo Revolution on various online communities, but my searches for a Nintendo Wii Web site turned up dry. I brought up the idea to the message board gaming communities and the response was overwhelmingly positive.
I recruited some of my old colleagues and brought in talented staff from all over the world with experience in their fields. From here, we began development. After more than a month of hard work, Revolution Report opened to the public on July 1st, 2005. We received tremendously positive feedback from our readers on our coverage of the Wii and our weekly podcasts. We have been in attendance at various games industry conventions, such as the Leipzig Gaming Convention, Tokyo Game Show 2005, and the Electronic Entertainment Expo recently held in May. As the site continues to expand, members of The Wiire's staff will attend most, if not all future industry events in order to provide the most up-to-date news as well as in-depth interviews, features, and analysis of Nintendo's next console.
Our goal is to provide uncompromised video game information without the influence of outside involvement, providing gamers with unbiased, ethical practices you can always rely on. I hope you all continue to enjoy The Wiire, and we all thank you for your continued support.
