Regan Books, an imprint of News Corp owned Harper Collins, is publishing OJ's book. Judith Regan, former employee of FNC, will be hosting the special on Fox launching the publication. After a week of intense reaction over the project, Judith Regan issued a statement Why I Did It defending her motivations. Read it only if you have low blood pressure, an iron stomach and an ability to find humor in the absurd.

A Taos NM video-store owner, outraged by FOX's planned airing of an interview with acquitted murderer OJ Simpson, has his own plans to destroy several hundred DVDs of popular FOX programs such as "24" and "The Simpsons" in protest. Mondo Video owner Marc Campbell said of the book being published by News Corp. holding ReganBooks "It's a how-to book on killing your wife, and as my wife said, with domestic violence being rampant, I had to make a statement."

Bill O'Reilly, looking smug, announced during his Ridiculous Item segment, 11/17, Al Franken was leaving the " bankrupt Air America" but would probably show up on those far left cable shows.Hopefully, he'll drive them into the ground as well." Of course, O'Reilly is too immature to use Franken's real name still calling him " Stewart Smalley". That would be foolish enough but O'Reilly neglected to tell his audience that Franken is leaving Air America for a time for a trip to entertain troops in Afganistan and Iraq .Isn't that odd that O'Reilly forgot to mention that news?

Neil Cavuto expanded on George Bush's comparison of Iraq to Vietnam today (November 17, 2006). He aired two segments, the first a report from Vietnam by Fox's David Piper about how Vietnam is "moving from Communism to capitalism. " Following that came an appearance by a man named Bill Rafferty. Rafferty was on to talk about how Vietnam's booming economy could be a "glimpse of Iraq's future."

Wednesday morning on FOX & Friends First Steve Doocy, Kiran Chetry and Judge Andrew Napolitano did a story on a recent Associated Press/IPSOS poll that measured post-election sentiment in the United States. It was fascinating to watch the trio of GOP shills jump through verbal hoops as they tried to put a smiley face on those portions of the poll that didn't fit the GOP talking points.

In the wake of hiring conservative unfunnyman Dennis Miller and "hate jock" Greg Gutfeld, FOX News Channel announced on Wednesday that it has also hired Erich "Mancow" Muller, the abrasive, over-the-top Chicago-based shock jock, to host a special this coming Saturday at 9:00 PM ET. Mancow is a graceless, self-important popinjay who suffers from a complete lack of empathy, self-knowledge and charisma. He has a big mouth and his delivery reminds me of a large deflating ballon making obscene noises as it bounces off the walls and the ceiling.

Mark Fuhrman, the “n” word-using former detective whose racism may have been responsible for O.J. Simpson’s acquittal, freaked out on Hannity & Colmes last night (11/16/06) over the upcoming O.J. interview on FOX TV. First, Fuhrman, now a FOX News contributor, made the racially-tinged statement that people like Simpson “will kill somebody and go have some chicken at KFC. A definition of bias reads a: a bent, tendency b: an inclination of temperament or outlook; especially : a personal and sometimes unreasoned judgment. Bill O'Reilly is showing a tendency to seeing everything in the context of his latest book, tying everything into the so-called "culture war" the way Neil Cavuto ties every movement in the Dow Jones to the Bush administration (up) or the Democratic party (down). Using the platform afforded him by FOX News, Bill O'Reilly launched yet another personal vendetta via his "most ridiculous item" yesterday 11/14/06, this time against GQ specifically and Conde Nast in general. He urged his viewers "Don't advertise, don't buy." I'll bet that's really going to teach them a lesson, when all those FOX addicts pull their multi-million dollar ad campaigns.

Many people have accused FOX News of being TV-tabloid journalism; Greg Gutfeld, a far-right opinionated job-hopper who should fit right in at the Murdoch-owned smear factory, adds a hint of smut. A peek at his website ("a handkerchief of hard news soaked in a sneeze of thought snot") proves to be as unappetizing as his motto.

FOX News, scrambling to attract the younger demographic, has made some dubious decisions lately like Dennis Miller on H&C; and a new 3 hour Mancow Show premiering on Saturday. However, nothing can compare with their new online personality Greg Gutfeld scheduled to do a daily chat with friends in his messy livingroom. It's called The Wasteland and it is so bad it made me cringe in disbelief.

One of the segments on Your World w/Neil Cavuto today (November 16, 2006) was a roundtable discussion introduced by a graphic that read, "Wall Street Reacts!" The topic, as stated by Cavuto in his intro and as set forth in the chyron that ran at the bottom of the screen for the duration was, "Powerless Pelosi: Good or Bad for Stocks?"

Drum roll please. The shocking, yes SHOCKING and unpredictable conclusion reached by Fox's crack panel was that "Powerless Pelosi" is...breathe...good for stocks!

The folks at FOX News are falling all over themselves to be transparent about the fact that the television channel, the book publisher, and the interviewer enabling the re-opening of the OJ murders are sister companies owned by News Corp. - all except Bill O'Reilly, who foolishly proclaimed last night 11/15/06 "For the record, Fox Broadcasting has nothing to do with the Fox News Channel."
