Fox Uses Alert To Show Taped Presidential Coverage

On Studio B with Shepard Smith today they showed a taped presidential spot and used it as a Fox News Alert.

There was nothing surprising - just the same old Bush-speak.

November has arrived. The air is crisp, darkness falls early, leaves are changing, or as Scooter Libby put it so eloquently, "Out West, where you vacation, the aspens will already be turning. They turn in clusters, because their roots connect them."

In almost one week, families across the nation will gather with their loved ones to partake in large turkey dinners, enjoy football games, and give thanks for everything we've been given this year (including the Democratic takeover!)

Of course, November also means it's time to strap on our body armor, grab our guns and join the WAR ON CHRISTMAS (tm)! On "Special Report" last night (11/13) substitute host Jim Angle reported that Muslims and Christians can unite, but apparently only when Muslims respect and support Christian values.

Dick Morris, the man who predicted that the aftermath of Katrina would provide a huge boost for President Bush, must be so disconsolate over last week’s election results that has has lost touch with the present as much as the future. Last night on Hannity & Colmes (11/13/06), Morris completely distorted Congressman John Murtha’s record in order to paint him as some kind of radical leftist. It’s easy to know what sparked that flight from truth: FOX News’ Uber-villainness Nancy Pelosi has just announced her support for Murtha as House Majority Leader. If Pelosi supports something, it must be bad - even if you have to make up the reason.

In keeping with his reputation of frustrated malcontent, Bill O'Reilly suggested tonight 11/13/06 that there is a "war on religion" in this country. As last year's "war on Christmas" was soundly ridiculed and dismissed by intelligent people, The Factor had to find a new tactic to spread Grinchiness and then make O'Reilly the savior of the season - Santa and JC rolled into one.

John Nostradamus Gibson Predicts " Impeachment Storm"

John Gibson doesn't want FOX viewers to believe the Democrats denying plans for impeachment. Gibson is sure an " impeachment storm" is coming because 87% voted for it in an online survey on a " popular liberal website" which Gibson did not name. Gibson's not buying the talk of moderation from the newly elected Democrats who he predicts will crumble from all the outside pressure to impeach Bush.

Maybe Gibson is nervous because the " popular liberal website" he mentioned is actually MSNBC which is currently doing an impeachment poll showing 87% in favor of impeachment with over 380,700 responses as of 10PM ET.

Michael Reagan, a son of the former president, a radio talk show host and a frequent guest on Your World w/Neil Cavuto, opened Cavuto's "business news" show today (November 13, 2006). Reagan was full of dire warnings about the Democrats who are "about to take over this government." He said they're going to "basically undermine the very economy we have and then find a way to blame the President in 2008," and cause "Iraq to fail" because they "don't want this president to get the credit for ending the war."

This morning on FOX & Friends First FOX News Analyst, war profiteer (NetStar Systems, Iran Policy Committee, Crescent Technology Ventures PLC) and uberhawk (Ret.) Air Force General Thomas McInerney trotted out the latest "solution" to the mess that George Bush has gotten us into in Iraq. "But here's the key thing," McInerney said. "Is [Prime Minister Nouri al] Maliki up to it? And I'm starting to question if he's up to it and it may be we might have to use what we did after the Korean War when President Syngman Rhee was put in. He was an authoritarian government. We may have to go to an authoritarian government in which we - uh - reduce the civil rights, have martial law, do a whole host of very restrictive things to get stability over there."

Thanks to one of our readers, Tobi and fellow News Hound, Marie Therese, for the heads up on an upcoming segment on the Jane Skinner Show in which Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-San Francisco) was going to endorse Rep. John Murtha for Majority Leader in the House.

I'm sure the story was probably run on Jane Skinner show but it was also featured on the Studio B show with Shepard Smith. Smith spoke with Major Garret regarding this.

Today on Fox On Line with Bill Hemmer most of the hour was filled with fluff, things to download and a police standoff in Homestead, Florida. They did find time to show a few questions of a meeting between Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and President Bush.

Bush took the opportunity to chasten the Democrats.

This trend continues today as we are provided with yet another example, as Fox Politics on the web is running a ridiculous photo of John Murtha (D-PA).

Sean Hannity and Michelle Malkin were not just sore losers over the election Friday night (11/10/06) on Hannity & Colmes, they seemed to be vying for “Un-American Of The Year Award” as they spewed hate and invective toward America’s chosen Party of the year, Democrats. Perhaps graciousness was too much to hope for from those two but, in the final analysis, their desecration of the election results belied any respect for America, itself. It was proof positive that the so-called patriotism they flaunt, and which they use to berate others, is nothing more than window dressing that disappears the moment their own desires conflict with those of the nation. One would think that Tuesday's election, which produced some changes in the Heartland, would have been a major topic on John Kasich’s show 11/12/06. Perhaps because these changes were beneficial to Democrats, Kasich avoided the subject except for a mention of John McCain on the cusp of declaring his candidacy and Tom Vilsack’s announcement of his run for the presidency. But Kasich did have a segment devoted to “what to expect when democrats win.” His only pundit was Susan Estrich because Michael Steele was “MIA.”

Hannity.Com: The Go-To Site For Conservative Gay Dating?

Believe it or not, Sean Hannity is doing his part to enable the "homosexual agenda." His website, hannity.com, offers a dating service for conservatives called Hannidate. But you don't have to be hetero to Hannidate. Men can search for men, women can search for women. Huffington Post has the story of one man who posted a gay profile on Hannidate and received responses. I tried some same-sex searches on Hannidate and found several profiles that looked like jokes but at least one seemed legit. Check it out!

Mort Kondracke and Fred Barnes made no effort to make gracious or non-partisan observations about the election today on The Beltway Boys. Full of doubt about the Democrat's ability to maintain peace, they expressed caustic dread over Democrat spending, tax hikes and of course, investigations. Do the B-Boys know the election is over?
