About this database
The price paid for a home is public record in Illinois, but most counties don't keep digital records of these sales. Once the county has recorded a transaction, however, companies inspect the prope
rty transfer documents to create mailing lists and other digital resources, such as the records in our search. This pr
ocess cannot guarantee that our search will replicate the complete public record, but it's a good start in gauging rec
ent market values.
Transactions are updated monthly on this site, and generally are available within two months of the property transfer.
