On Sunday, I posted about Rude Pundit's findings that Ann Coulter seems to have plagiarized portions of her new book. Now Rude Pundit and Raw Story have found numerous new examples of her "writings" which have remarkable similarities to material previously written by someone else. Add this to her other ethical challenges: allegations of voter fraud, tax fraud and seeming high as a kite during a Hannity & Colmes interview. This pathetic woman deserves to be shunned, not treated as any kind of serious pundit.

Fox News is based in New York, but apparently its staff never bothers to read the New York newspapers to find out what's going in that state. As a poll showed Senator Hillary Clinton unbeatable right now in her bid for a second term in the U.S. Senate, Fox News' "Dayside" clowns on Wednesday (June 14, 2006) proclaimed that no one would vote for her.

Nothing gets a conservative American's dander up like the thought of politicians getting a pay raise. Now that the federal government is in Republican hands, however, it's a different story entirely. Fox News' "Dayside" on Wednesday (June 14, 2006) defended the pay raise as well deserved for a bunch of hard-working folks.

Shepard Smith with Studio B said he had breaking news from the Senior VP of News Editorial for Fox News, John Moody, who had been in Iran and received a message from an aide to the Supreme Leader in Iran. Moody said the representative said that Iran could help the United States when it comes to Iraq. He said the Iranians weren't specific on how they could help but they were surprised that the Bush administration had not picked up on all of their overtures.

Smith announced this as a Fox exclusive. Do the Iranians, too, think that Fox News speaks for this White House? So now the Iranians will deal exclusively with Fox News when it comes to dealing with the White House?

The entire program of Fox News Live with Bill Hemmer (12 - 1 p.m.) seemed custom designed to make the Bush administration look like everything was right with the world.

It began with a segment from reporter Andrew Stack, in Baghdad, who spoke about how the Iraqi Security Forces were stepping up in Baghdad in Operation Forward Together. Then we had Bill Krystol on to speak about how Bush is committed to victory and how Bush has to convince people who don't think we can win in Iraq that we can win.

Just now, I turned on the TV and channel-surfed for news on Bush's press conference. On CNBC. they called the press conference "a victory lap" after his visit to Baghdad. The screen read: Bush: Victory Lap.

Hannity & Colmes Spins Rove’s Non-Indictment As Legal And Political Victory

Like a Rumpelstiltskin of the airwaves, FOX News did its best to spin Karl Rove’s escape from indictment into a complete acquittal of the Bush administration on the entire matter. Each of the two guests seemed to consider the case closed, or that it should be, despite the fact that neither was a legal expert and that Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald has made no statement indicating his investigation has ended. Neither guest seemed to think that even if no further legal charges are filed, there might still be a number of questions that the Bush Administration ought to answer.

Chickenhawk Sean Hannity Smears War Veteran John Murtha – Again

Bernie Goldberg visited The Factor tonight to plug the paperback edition of his hate spewing book," 100 People Who Are Screwing Up America" Now, however, Goldberg has added 10 people to his list for the paperback but fortunately viewers were spared hearing about the new editions because the attention was focused on Goldberg's opinion of Coulter's recent rhetoric. 6/13/06

Neil Cavuto Rewrites Hours-Old History of Bush's Visit to Baghdad

It never ceases to amaze me the extent to which Fox News rewrites, or even creates its own version of history, but when it does so when that history is only hours old, as was the case today (June 13, 2006) on Your World w/Cavuto, it blows my mind. It's audacious and it illustrates Fox's utter lack of respect for its audience and for its purported mission, to provide "fair and balanced news."

After a report from Baghdad by Fox reporter Andrew Sack, the first full-blown propaganda segment on Your World today asked, as Cavuto put it: "At a time when critics of the war want us out of there, what does the President's visit say about how we are doing there?" The segment featured two Fox "military analysts," Ret. Col. David Hunt and Ret. Gen. Thomas McInerney.

Republican Gloating On Big Story

Happy days are here again at FOX News. Andrew Napolitano, in for John Gibson, was full of enthusiastic optimism as he reported all the recent developments that have raised the Bush approval numbers to 38%. Jim Angle and the Judge gloated about Rove and Larry Sabato gleefully dismissed the Democrats as a powerless force. The celebration was heightened by a Fox News Alert for a Rumsfeld briefing and Joe Biden praising the surprise visit to Iraq by Bush.

Bush & Iraq Are Wonderful - The Love Fest Continues On Studio B

I reported earlier on the love fest of how wonderful George Bush is after secretly visiting Iraq, conveniently timed for soon after Al Zarqawi's death. Well today on Studio B with Shepard Smith, the love fest continued.

Apparently Secretary of State, Condoleeza Rice and Secretary of Defense, Donald Rumsfeld had been reporting to the Senate about Iraq.

There was Fox News Alert after Fox News Alert today on Fox News Live. It was almost comical because they went back and forth between Fox News Alerts for the secret visit of President Bush to Iraq and Fox News Alerts for Tropical storm Alberto.

However, the so called, self named, Fair & Balanced Network, Fox News had several people on to comment on the president's visit in Iraq - however, not one Democrat was to be seen.

Why Is Ann Coulter Being Treated Like A Serious Pundit?

Suspected committer of voting-fraud, possible tax cheat, likely substance abuser and plagiarist Ann Coulter was a guest for another double-session of "Let's Pretend Ann Coulter Is A Serious Pundit" on Hannity & Colmes last night (6/12/06) to “answer her critics” for the disgusting remarks she made about 9/11 widows (which I will not dignify with repeating but you can find them via a site search). Glassy-eyed and wearing more eye make-up than a hooker, Coulter giggled giddily throughout the discussion. And why shouldn’t she? Instead of putting her lack of ethics, her many-documented lies, her hate-for-profit schemes front and center, the issue became whether or not her books should be banned and whether she has been unfairly criticized.

Bill O'Reilly At Guantanamo

Bill O'Reilly returned from a tour of the prison in Guantanamo claiming that everyone is treated well gaining an average of 18 lbs on the wonderful Gitmo food and there was no proof of torture. Tonight on The Factor viewers saw clips of two clean cells and heard the rants of an angry prisoner from the hallway outside his cell perhaps to remind viewers that these guys in Gitmo are mean. As promised, O'Reilly "interrogated the interrogators" and discussed the recent suicides actually finding a way to put some blame for the deaths on the International Red Cross. 6/12/06

Hodgepodge of News - But Be Sure - Al Zarqawi Died Slow Death

Monday on Studio B was filled with a hodgepodge of news focusing in on Tropical Storm Alberto. Much time was given over to Governor Jeb Bush about tropical storm/hurrican preparedness.

But Studio B still found time amongst the sniper shooting in Nevada, rising violence statistics for violent crimes in the past four years and the really ridiculous increase in college costs (up 99% in past 4 years against the president slashing grant programs) to tell us that an autopsy had been done on Al Zarqawi and how long it took him to die after the bombing.
