The world's biggest demolition job went with a bang at the Three Gorges dam in China on Tuesday.
A total of 192 tonnes of explosives made sure that a 580m long temporary barrier at the site came tumbling down.
The barrier was mostly under water, which made the job tricky. It had to come down because the dam's main 2,300m long main wall has now been built.
The dam will be used to make loads of electricity as well as controlling the level of the Yangtze River.
The demolition took just 12 seconds and used enough explosives to topple 400 10-storey buildings.
The dam's main wall is now holding back the full weight of the river, but the site won't be completely finished until 2009.
