British Prime Minister Tony Blair has had a private audience with Pope Benedict XVI at the Vatican in Rome.
The two men are thought to have talked about how leaders of the world's main religions needed to work together to reduce the risk of terrorism.
They also discussed how to end poverty in Africa, and the importance of living in an international community.
It was the first time Mr Blair had met the catholic leader since he took over from John Paul II in April last year.
Mr Blair visited the pontiff during a week-long holiday in Italy.
During that time he also met Italy's new prime minister Romano Prodi and outgoing leader Silvio Berlusconi.
It's not known if Mr Blair offered Pope Benedict an official invitation to visit Britain soon.
