Our hours of operation are 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. If your ad is received during our business hours, we will contact you by phone if necessary. Ads placed after hours and on weekends will be responded to the next business day.

If you have questions about an ad that you have placed or are in the process of placing through our automated system, please call us at 415-777-7777 or send an email to placeanad@sfchronicle.com.

All advertising is accepted subject to publisher approval. The publisher shall at all times have the right to revise or reject, in whole or in part, any advertisement scheduled to appear in the newspaper that, in the publisher's sole discretion, is determined not to be in the best interest of the newspaper.

• If you do not see your classification or prefer submitting the text of your ad and have a classified sales rep call, please visit our other website.
• If you would like to place an ad over the phone, please call 415-777-7777 M-F 7am-6pm.
• The Chronicle Classifieds will not be responsible for more than one incorrect insertion, and its liability shall be limited to the price of one insertion. No allowance will be made for errors not materially affecting the value of the ad.
