There were no power cuts in Cape Town last night, and if everything goes right, there would be no further load-shedding today, city public lighting manager Charles Kadalie pledged. Kadalie said that by 6.30pm yesterday Koeberg's Unit 2 was generating sufficient power to keep the Western Cape fully supplied. [Full Story...]

Row over a fez was over the top
When customer Moosa Valli walked into a Brackenfell timber firm, he was greeted with a demand that he remove his fez.
