The rules are simple: 64 games enter, one game leaves. But first, we need your help deciding who makes the cut!

Editor's Note: Polls are now closed! The Title Fight matches have already launched!

What do you think is the greatest videogame of all time? Pac-Man? DOOM? StarCraft? Half-Life?

Over the next six weeks, you'll have the chance to decide just that in Title Fight! The Ultimate Gaming Grudge -- an NCAA basketball-style tournament complete with 64 games and daily polls until we're down to one ultimate champion. Before we can start, however, we need your help choosing the games!

Here's how it works: every day, we'll have GameSpy Grudge-like polls pitting two (occasionally three) of the greatest games of all time against each other. Every videogame ever made is eligible, from the earliest arcade titles like Space Invaders and Asteroids to modern classics like Grand Theft Auto III and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Starting with 64 games, we'll quickly work our way down to 32, 16, 8, and eventually down to our Final Four!

However, with so many great games to choose from, we've got some tough choices to make, and that's where you come in! On the next few pages, you'll find "qualifying" polls for various franchises and genres -- your job is to vote for the games you feel are most deserving of entry in the tournament. The winners of these polls will help make up our final list of 64 games.

(Important Note: Don't get nervous if you don't see your favorite games here. These qualifying polls will help determine about half of the games that will make the tourney -- there are still many others that we'll announce on Monday.)

Once you've cast your ballot (and our system tracks you so you can only vote once), come back on Monday, Feb. 23, when we reveal the 64 games in the tournament and the serious voting begins! And when you are done, head to the forums to campaign for your favorite games!
