CAROL LIN, CNN ANCHOR: We've got some important economic news just in to the CNN Center. The measure of goods and services produced in this country, the gross domestic product, another sign that the economy is slowing down. The gross domestic product coming in at a growth rate of 1.4 percent. That is a slowdown, certainly something that the Federal Reserve will have to take into consideration as the market now widely anticipates a rate cut of at least half a point today. But we will find out 2:15 Eastern when we hear from the Federal Reserve. Once again, another sign of slowing down in the U.S. economy.
