Who is the Journalist? 

Choose a Newsweek journalist, and read his or her articles for several weeks.

1) In a group, from a reader's perspective, make of list of inquiry questions you might want to know about a journalist before reading his or her work.

2) Using the questions you generated, over the next few weeks, research and answer those questions from reading the journalist's work. You may also want to conduct an Internet search to see what previous articles and/or books the journalist wrote, too.

3) At the end of your inquiry, share with your class what you discovered. Any new revelations?

4) Write a letter to readers, advising them what they can learn from about journalists by following their writings.
