Miner's note: 'I'll see them on the other side'

Martin Toler Jr., deep inside the Sago Mine, knew that death was approaching. The 51-year-old miner took an insurance form and wrote a farewell note on the back of it. "It wasn't bad just went to sleep," he scribbled in the darkness, apparently to let his loved ones know that he did not suffer. "Tell all I'll see them on the other side."
