Seton-LaSalle (15-6, 9-3) got 15 points and 12 rebounds from Megan O'Keefe and defeated Brentwood (9-12, 3-9), 55-37, in Class AA Section 3.

The Brentwood girls basketball team lost to South Park last night. The score: 52-33.

The team plays Seton LaSalle Thursday.

Friday, the Brentwood boys team defeated Bishop Canevin, 53-43.

I think I figured out the tax dilemna in Brentwood Borough. Just as a note: Brentwood ranks at or just below the highest mileage rate in Allegheny County. Here is the top 2:

(1). The school district is the largest chunk of this mileage attempting to hold onto its current physical structures of Moore Elemetary, Elroy Elemetary and the ever updated High School. 11,000 residents get to provide all of this for a typical graduating class of 100 students.

Two former Brentwood council members have questioned whether two new members are fit to hold their committee appointments.

Former Councilman David Wenzel said that, because new council member Mary Dytko did not pay her county taxes for 2004 and 2005, she should not serve on the borough finance committee.
