Tabbed browsing

With Opera's tabbed browsing you can surf the Web easier and faster by opening multiple Web pages within the same application window. You can also close tabs easily by clicking the close icon.

Secure browsing

Stay away from spy-ware, viruses, and other third-party malicious software applications while you are surfing the Web.

Opera's yellow security bar appears on secure sites and displays the name of the organization that owns the certificate. By clicking on the bar you have access to more information about the validity of the certificate.

Searching

With Opera you can search Google, eBay, Amazon and more using the integrated search.

You can also search directly in the address field using shortcuts (e.g. writing "g Opera" will search for "Opera" on Google).

Opera Mail

Opera's built-in POP/IMAP E-mail client is a combined e-mail program, news reader, mailing list organizer and RSS/Atom newsfeed reader.

Opera Mail is database driven, enabling you to organize and find your e-mails in a matter of seconds through easy searches rather than traditional folder storage.

Skinning

The look of the Opera user interface can easily be changed by applying a new Opera skin. You can find hundreds of skins available for download at My Opera Community.

You can also change the colors of each skin by using Opera's build in color schemes.

Zooming

With Opera you can easily zoom the contents of any document from 20%-1000% by using the + and -, and * keys on your keyboard.
