4/28/2005 - RANDOLPH AIR FORCE BASE, Texas (AFPN) -- Five enlisted vehicle operations Airmen have been named the Air Force Association's 2005 Team of the Year.

Airmen selected are Master Sgt. Dennis Ross, from Bolling Air Force Base, D.C.; Tech. Sgt. Jason Hohenstreiter, from Minot AFB, N.D.; Staff Sgt. Amelia Solomon, from Royal Air Force Mildenhall, England; and Senior Airmen Joshua Powell, from Eielson AFB, Alaska, and John Chege, from Langley AFB, Va. They were selected for their technical expertise, leadership and inspiration of their co-workers.

The association selects a specific enlisted career field annually for recognition. Nominated individuals need only to be assigned to the same career field to be eligible and are not members of a team in the traditional sense of the term, according to award guidelines.
