We all know about the biggest selling records of all time, and those that consistently get voted some of the greatest ever – but what about the worst ones? There are some records that are so insipid, so excruciatingly memorable, just so plain irritating that they will go down in history as one of the Worst Pop Records of all time.

Presented by comedian Jimmy Carr, 100 Worst Pop Records will countdown the ultimate chart of terrible tracks as voted for by you – the public.

The criteria are simple: all of the records must have been released as a single in the UK, at one time or another, and have entered the official British chart at number 75 or above. Unbelievably, that means that all of these awful musical abominations will forever be recorded as having made it as �hit� singles.
