Mountain Biking and Road Cycling DOOLEY MOUNTAIN - BLACK MOUNTAIN

TRAIL BEGINNING: Dooley Summit (gravel shed)

TRAIL ENDING: Mason Dam

ACCESS: 30 minutes or 18 miles south of Baker City, Oregon

From Dooley Mountain Summit (gravel shed), State Highway 245 travel west on Forest Road #11 (Skyline Road), proceed to Forest Road #1145, travel north to Mason Dam.

ATTRACTIONS:

The Dooley and Black Mountain area offers many alternate rides. The route travels along forest roads and offers spectacular views of the surrounding areas as it winds through timber and open hillsides.

CONSIDERATIONS: Watch for motorized traffic

Length: 18miles, 2 hours estimated time

Elevation: 3,500' to 5,200'

Difficulty: Easy to difficult

Restrictions: None

Recommended Season: Spring, Summer and Fall
