imprints under four autonomous divisions that between them publish

In non-fiction, the lists range from broad general non-fiction
to a number of specialist non-fiction categories such as cookery,
gardening including the renowned Expert Books series and Eden
Project Books, travel including Fodor's Guides and a new partnership
with Time Out and business books. Notable authors of non-fiction
include Bill Bryson, Nigella Lawson and David Starkey. The Group's
classic backlist of over 6000 titles includes the works of Ernest
Hemingway, Graham Greene, Iris Murdoch, Virginia Woolf and Anthony
Powell amongst others.

In the UK, the Random House Group runs a distribution business
that services its own imprints as well as 50 other UK publishers.
The Random House Group has three distribution sites, at Grantham,
Wellingborough and at Frating where the warehouse, built in 1998,
is the largest purpose-built book distribution centre in the UK.
