Javine Triumphs

Let's be honest, Katie Price's 'singing' was never exactly the best, but for pure kitsch value - and we all know that's what wins Eurovision Song Contests - her pink rubber outfit was almost worth first place. But not quite, as Javine romped home with a clear margin to be this year's UK Eurovision entry.

Which is probably a good thing, since Katie would have been eight months pregnant by the time the actual competition, which will be held in the Ukraine, came around!

Gina G had a bad night, though. She may have represented the UK once before, in 1996, but she came bottom in every single vote. Not so much a dignified win as total humiliation on live telly. Ouch.
