The IRMA Trust is an independent, non-profit organisation. Set up in 1997, with funding from the PPI, the aim of the Trust is to enhance opportunities for young people who wish to pursue a career in music.

The IRMA Trust funds a broad spectrum of projects designed to promote equal access to music, particularly among young people. Our main initiative is the Instrument Bank, through which we provide music instruments to young people, particularly in disadvantaged communities throughout Ireland. Funding is also currently available through the Masterclass Programme. Full details are available at www.irmatrust.ie
