The photos cover from the turn of the century to 1939 and include aviation pictures. Sorry about the page backgrounds! None of these photos are for sale so ignore the $ prices which the package we used put in for us at no extra cost!

2005 ANNUAL REUNION.
THE 2005 REUNION will be held on Sunday 3rd July - one week before the Goodwood Festival of Speed - see Winter Events for more event dates.

NOTICE TO MEMBERS. Please note that this year we issued 2004 membership cards with the end January Gazette. If you have not paid your 2004 subs your membership card is invalid and can not be used to gain entrance to Brooklands Museum. All paid up members have received complimentary entrance tickets.

The dates have now been fixed for the 2005 Goodwood Festival of Speed which will be held on 8/9/10 July. Entrance tickets must be bought in advance as there will be no ticket sales on the gate.

ARCHIVE NEWS 9th August 2003 . . . . . The Secretary of State has decided not to call the DaimlerChrysler application in for his own determination.

GOODWOOD FESTIVAL OF SPEED 2004
OUR DOWNHILL RACER
won again on the Saturday but Sunday's races were scratched after two accidents due to high winds. Our soapbox will now be retired and it looks like we will be building a new one for 2005.

MERCEDES COMES TO BROOKLANDS
News of Daimler Chrysler's planned acquisition of the central 155 acres of Brooklands with details of their plans complete with drawings for their proposed flagship UK Heritage and Technology Centre.

BIRA FILMS RECOVERED FROM AUSTRALIA
In 1936 Prince Bira of Siam gave his White Mouse Racing Team six Bolex cine cameras and told them to shoot film. 68 years later the films have been recovered from Australia by The Brooklands Society - see some of the stills here. Black and white and very early colour !!!

What's on at Brooklands Museum?

ANNUAL REUNION Sunday 29th June 2003
Brooklands Museum and race track, Weybridge, Surrey - Featuring "The Best of British" racing cars. This is the only day of the year when Brooklands becomes exclusively dedicated to pre 1939 cars and motor bikes. Programme,  how to enter, where to stay, how to buy tickets. Open to everyone. Be sure to buy tickets for the Chairman's Reception, drink champagne and chat with surviving Brooklands personalities.
