The Legislative and Normative Acts Concerning the Preparation and Execution of the first All-Ukrainian Census of the Population

   Since 1995 onward a number of legislative acts as to the preparation and execution of the first All-Ukrainian census of the population were adopted. To provide a decade interval between the censuses, the first All-Ukrainian census of the population was planned to take place in January, however the date of its execution was postponed to the year of 2001 because of objective reasons.

   Legislative and normative documents regulating the terms of the execution of the first All-Ukrainian census and the procedure order of its organization, material-technical and financial maintenance:


  • THE LAW OF UKRAINE “About the All-Ukrainian census of the population”.

  • THE LAW OF UKRAINE “About the introduction of changes to the Code of Ukraine about administrative infringements”.

  • The resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine from 28 September 1998 № 1536 “About the execution of the All-Ukrainian census of the population in 2001”.

  • The resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine from 18 June 1999 № 1066 “About the organization and material technical maintenance of the execution of the All-Ukrainian census of the population in 2001”."

  • The Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine from 21 February №51,“About the organization of the execution of the All-Ukrainian census of the population”."

  • The Resolutions of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine from 11 July 2001 № 2646-III “About the temporary suspension of the examination of the questions connected with the changes in administrative-territorial system of Ukraine”."
