Scream book delay

Ninth Doctor novel pushed back.

BBC Books have announced that rather than coming out in November as planned, it will now be released in February 2004.

The plan was to release Scream of the Shalka, written by scriptwriter Paul Cornell, as an additional book to the schedule.

According ro range consultant Justin Richards, "that's not possible at such short notice without upsetting the distribution and making things difficult all round."

The release of Scream of Shalka in February means that all the novels planned for that month and thereafter will be pushed back a month, starting with David Bishop's Empire of Death in March.
