Details of the season eight X Files DVD box set.

Out from Twentieth Century Home Entertainment on 15th March, this DVD box set begins with Mulder's strange disappearance, and introduces Agents John Doggett and Monica Reyes. Dealing with cases as strange and gruesome as ever, the season closes as Scully is about to give birth, with the fate of her baby at stake.

On top of twenty-one complete episodes, the six disc set contains the following extras:

• International clips from Within, Via Negativa, The Gift, Three Words, Essence and Existence
• Deleted scenes from Surekill, Badlaa, Per Manum, Empedocles and Existence, branchable into the episodes
• Audio commentary for Alone by director Frank Spotnitz
