FNC Coverage of Bill and Hill
Brit Hume killed some time fishing while waiting for the Clintons to speak at the DNC July 26. He revealed (at 3:09EDT) that Mary Beth Cahill, Kerry campaign manager, said there was no real moratorium on Bush-bashing, but Susan Estridge countered saying Dems would be critical, but by implication. Brit asked, "Is there a danger the Democrats will put on a dull convention that no-one will watch?"

Charles Krauthammer, speaking on Special Report with Brit Hume today July 21, mentioned at 6:45 EDT that the U.S. needs (among other things) mor spies and translators on the ground to fight the "war on terror".

Where is Genuine Campaign Coverage?
In his daily coverage of the Kerry/Edwards campaign, Carl Cameron on Special Report w/Brit Hume (July 8, 6:08 p.m.ET) did his usual hatchet job on the democratic campaign instead of reporting the campaign news. Cameron made the report with pre-selected year old video and a script to go with it of Edwards making pre-war comments, while pretending to do an up-to-the minute, on the spot report on the campaign. (This is typical Fox.)

Media Attention Will Win the Election?
Fox's Brit Hume and guests (July 6, 6:43 p.m. ET) made some observations about the election with their John Edwards talking points for the day. Charles Krauthammer stated what they all wholeheartedly believe when he said, "Media attention will win the election."
