About MEETUP (http://www.meetup.com)

MEETUP.com brings together people with shared interests to local venues all over the globe. MEETUPs occur on the same day in multiple locales, bringing the experience to large and small towns alike. So far we have completed three separate projects for MEETUP.

To help take MEETUP from concept to reality, we were contracted to develop the strategy and interface guidelines for the site. In conjunction with their internal team and other outside contractors, we quickly designed a fast-loading, easy-to-read interface that makes getting together a snap. Since MEETUP's launch in 2002, MEETUP has attracted over 330,000 participants in 550 cities throughout the globe. The press has caught on too.
