Hope you find this special editon of Credenda/Agenda useful. There are basically two sections—the first is an essay on what has come to be called the New Perspective on Paul, outlining some agreements and disagreements with that perspective. The second section is a small collection of credos on related issues so that those who want to condemn us for heresy will have statements from us they can actually quote, instead of having to imagine what they think we might have been thinking. It will be harder to find actual heresy in the credos, but that, honestly, is the one of the points we would like to make.

In the Reformed world, there have been many men who have taken up this controversy in an extremely unfortunate way. “He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame unto him” (Prov. 18:12).
This issue is dedicated to them.
