Adults can learn a lot from kids during wintertime

Ice-covered lakes perfect for anglers
From an angler's point of view, Southcentral's bountiful summer days can seem a long way off come mid-November. Temperatures traditionally plummet this time of year, the air growing freezer-locker cold and still. The sun rises late, breaking over the Chugach Range for a few sweet hours to reveal a land of lakes and streams all covered in snow and sheathed in ice. (More...)
