8 Poll: And the Oscar goes to ...

(Published: January 30, 2004)

The Academy has had its say. It's members have chosen five films as finalists for best picture at this year's Oscars ceremony -- from grand epics to a story about the little horse that could. But you haven't had your say. Which film do you think should take home the trophy come Feb. 29?

• "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King"

• "Lost in Translation"

• "Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World"

• "Mystic River"

• "Seabiscuit"

• What was the Academy thinking? We all know ________ was the best movie of 2003.

To vote in the 8 online poll, go to www.webforums.com/forums/p-read/msa131.61.html. Results will be tabulated at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4.
